On 11 November 2016, 60 Scouts from eight different Scouting units from the Ranch Mesa District participated in a Veteran’s Day ceremony at City of Poway Veterans Park and paid a thank you to those who served. Sea Scout from Ship 7907 took the lead for organizing and training scouts to conduct the Ceremony. As part of the ceremony the scouts conducted the opening colors and presented Service Flags.
